2017 St. Mary Armenian Food Festival — 9th Annual

By admin

St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church in Costa Mesa will hold its 9th Annual Armenian Festival on Saturday, October 7th (4–10 PM) and Sunday, October 8th (Noon–6 PM). The festival is held on the church grounds at 148 22nd Street, Costa Mesa. Admission is $3.

Come enjoy delicious homemade Armenian foods — shish kebab, rice pilaf, hummus, stuffed grape leaves — and save room for baklava with Armenian coffee. A large assortment of vegetarian options is also available. Enjoy live Armenian music all day, both days, featuring the Hosharian Brothers Band for traditional line dancing, and the ancient sounds of the duduk played by Albert Vardanian and the kanoon played by Lilit Khojayan.

The festival also features a variety of vendors with cultural items, books, and CDs; a kids' area; a 50/50 cash raffle; and much more. Come learn about Armenian culture, tour our beautiful church, and enjoy a fun-filled day you won't want to miss!
