Dear St. Mary's Parishioners,
With the blessing and recommendation of our beloved Hayr Eremia, we are pleased to share an important update to our Lenten worship schedule.
Beginning Sunday, March 1, 2026, the choir will lead the Arevakal (Sunrise Service) at 10:00 AM, immediately followed by the Divine Liturgy (Soorp Badarak) at 10:30 AM.
This adjustment allows us to gather earlier in the morning to begin the day in prayer, reflection, and fellowship during this holy season of Lent.
St. Mary's Lenten Sunday Schedule
- 10:00 AM — Arevakal (Sunrise Service)
- 10:30 AM — Divine Liturgy (Soorp Badarak)
Come and begin the day in prayer as we gather in faith and fellowship.
A Spiritual Message from Hayr Eremia Abgaryan
Scripture teaches that "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted" and that we need not surrender during trials. A single step of faith and hopeful thought can transform circumstances.
Suffering builds perseverance, which develops character and hope. Storms are temporary; joy comes in the morning after hardship passes. Difficult seasons are not meant to halt us but to strengthen our faith, deepen our spiritual wisdom, and draw us closer to God.
Prayerfully, Very Rev. Fr. Yeremia Abgaryan
