Easter Yughakin Donation Appeal
Join St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church for an Easter celebration centered on the ancient tradition of Yughakin — a practice rooted in Old Testament times when believers brought oil to temples to maintain sanctuary lamps.
The term "Yughakin" derives from yugh (oil) and kin (price). While modern churches no longer use oil lamps, the spiritual significance remains: your donations support essential operations including electricity, gas, heating, and maintenance — keeping the lights of faith burning brightly and the doors of St. Mary always open to our community.
This Easter, we invite you to participate in this meaningful tradition by offering your Easter Yughakin as a gift of love. You may donate in memory of a departed loved one or in honor of family and friends.
Give your Easter Yughakin:
- Online: through our giving portal
- In person: at the church during Holy Week
- By mail: St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church, 148 22nd Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92627
